Brilliant Idea

I Love this Card...and here is my brilliant idea...

What if I used this image on the top of one of those affordable plastic recipe boxes you get at Wal-Mart to create a fabulous Christmas gift for my daughters teachers?  How awesome would that be? 

 ITS FINAL!!!  That's exactly what I'm gonna do!!  I will post a pic of the finished result of my one of a kind, out of this world, easy to create, very affordable, even more adorable, cutest thing you ever did see recipe box.  But you gotta give me a little time cuz this project will get done after the 57 Mickey fundraiser ornaments, the 65ish hand stamped Christmas cards, my grandmas traditional painted t-shirt w/her 27 great grandchildrens  names on it, the laundry, my daughters basketball game, my sons band fantasy of lights parade......OK, it may not happen, but I will give it the ol college try. LOL   

Rorrie

This project is a 5X7 canvas that I have basically turned into a mini scrapbook page.  This stamped image reminded me of My Step Mom and her three dogs ( Oscar, Baily the boy, & Gracie.)  Rorrie definitely has her hands full.  It's as if she has three toddlers under her feet.  LOL  glad its her and not me.  Never the less I smile when I see this little image.

 I love this pick!

 My daughter (Karleigh) & myself, (Brenda)  were pink Ladies.

Savanna made the perfect Ultimate Grand Supreme Winner.

She had the walk down, the wave perfected, & definitely the attitude turned way up.

We had a wonderful Halloween.

Now it's on to Turkey Day.

This is the perfect card to give along with a mani/pedi gift card.

The inside says,"I hope your Birthday is Toe-tally awesome!"

And yes this is my big foot, corns and all. HE! HE!

Homecoming 2011

This is my first attempt ever at making mums. 

 I would have to say......I made a touch down!!!

I LOVE FALL!!

I had a friend from Canada tell me that we can't even imagine how beautiful Fall is up there.  I would love to experience Fall in Canada some day but for now...... I will have to except our South Texas Fall. The leaves don't really fall from the trees in to beautiful piles of yellows, browns, and reds.   Instead they wilt in to nothing or possibly burst in to flames  from the 100 degree heat of summer.  We can't pull out our adorable, fluffy, soft sweaters till the end of December or maybe even January.  If your brave enough to put pumpkins on your front porch the first day of Fall,  you will definitely have a pile of mush before Halloween Night.  Those pumpkins won't be carvable. HE! HE!   But I still love our South Texas Fall.  Why you ask?  Because it ain't Summer. :)

Its hard to do this card justice in a photo.  I used a dry embossing and chalk technique.

Hey People....  Is it Halloween Yet?
I LOOOVVVEEEE this time of year.
I love the way orange and black pop when used together.
I love gettin' to dress up as anything you want to. 
When we were kids we were hobos every year though.
There was six of us at home and free was the only way to go.
Everyone has hobo cloths in their closet. 
Nothing I say ever convinces my kids that they would make adorable hobos.
I LOVE CANDY CORN!!! 
I don't wanna eat it. 
I just wanna put it in a jar and look at it.
I Know... it sounds strange but, try it.
Candy Corn is just so darn cute. 
I just get a warm fuzzy at this time of year.
So I'm gonna try to post some of my favorite Halloween creations for you daily.

What a Hoot!!

My daughter savanna wanted an owl for a few of her friends.

By the time we were through we had an entire flock of them..
